Biostatistician

We are looking for an experienced biostatistician who is able to take on challenges in diverse statistical domains with numerous unknowns; challenges that when solved will impact millions of people on the most personal level.

Responsibilities:

• Closely cooperate with epidemiologists and medical experts in designing epidemiological studies using large databases Real-World Data (RWD).
• Devising rigorous Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP).
• End-to end ownership of the data analysis, from data extraction through modelling to reporting.
• Dissemination of study results, including writing of papers and reports and communicating statistical results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Serve as an authority and provide mentorship in the field of statistics.

Qualifications:

• M.sc or above with academic excellence in statistics, Biostatistics or a similar field - Mandatory
• 3 + Years of experience in applied research and statistical modeling - Mandatory
• Proven scientific writing capabilities
• Experience with survival (Time to Event) Analysis
• Experience with SQL
• Strong coding capabilities in either R or Python
• Ability to independently acquire in-depth expertise in new, complex mathematical tools
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Experience with causal inference - Advantage
• Experience with Data Science (machine learning, LLM, etc.) - Advantage
• Background in healthcare, epidemiology or life sciences - Advantage
