Software Engineer

Job Description: As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Creating new features from scratch and enhancing existing functionalities, from conception and design through testing and deployment.
• Working on projects to improve the stability, speed, and security of our network while understanding, explaining, and enhancing complex code bases.
• Collaborating with our development QA and system QA teams to devise regression tests that cover new changes to our software.
• Assisting our third-level engineering support to troubleshoot complex network issues for our customers.
  
  

• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C/C++, Java, Python, Perl.
• Experience with SQL.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix platforms.
• Experience building scalable servers or distributed systems.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, complex code.
• Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-managed, and self-motivated, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Extensive experience handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Inventory management, backend development, infrastructure orientation, data processing.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• A minimum of 3 years of Python coding experience.
• Ability to conduct interviews and manage home assignments for candidates.
  
  

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience.
• Hands on working experience in Python programming language (atleast 3 years).
• Strong Infrastructure background-data pooling and data processing.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Airflow architecture, SQL Alchemy, data pipelining.
• Cloud experience: AWS, Azure, GCP. Hiring manager’s preference would be GCP and certification would be an added advantage.
