So, what’s the role all about?

As a Cloud FinOps Analyst, you will help NICE global cloud business units to maximize every dollar spent on the cloud and help speed the delivery of our solutions. You will promote the FinOps and governance principles which are a combination of systems, best practices, and culture designed to increase our company’s ability to understand cloud costs, generate cost optimization, and leverage cloud operations and governance across the organization.

We are looking for a Junior Cloud FinOps analyst who will collaborate with DevOps and R&D teams, product managers, business operations, Finance, Legal, and IT to boost the company's cloud efficiency and cloud governance.

How will you make an impact?

• Data Collection and Management:
• Gather and consolidate cloud usage and cost data from various sources.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and update cloud commitments (savings plans, reserved instances, and saving bundle).
• Maintain the FinOps group work plan.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Generate regular reports on cloud usage, costs, commitments, and trends.
• Create and maintain documentation for FinOps processes and procedures.
• Assist in preparing presentations for stakeholders.
• Conduct basic analysis to identify potential cost savings opportunities.
• Help in tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to cloud efficiency.
• Budget and Alerts:
• Set up and update dashboards for monitoring cloud spend and usage.
• Assist in configuring alerts for budget overruns or unusual spending patterns.
• Maintain actual versus budget analysis.
• Cost Allocation Support:
• Help implement and maintain cloud organizations' naming conventions and tagging strategies for accurate cost allocation.
• Assist in mapping cloud resources to business units or projects.
• Support the reconciliation of cloud bills with internal accounting systems.
• Stakeholder Coordination:
• Act as a liaison between the FinOps team and other departments for data collection.
• Respond to basic inquiries about cloud usage and costs from various teams.
• Schedule and coordinate FinOps-related meetings and follow up on action items.
• Review backlog and NICE user's support tickets status (cloud service providers and 3rd party tools).
  
  

Have you got what it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management, Economics /Accounting, or Information Technology.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services (e.g., AWS and Azure).
• Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and practices.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI).
• 1 - 2 years of experience in IT, Operations, and cloud computing project management or financial analysis.
• Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing key stakeholders for decision-making.
• Fluency in English.
• Good focus and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, negotiator.
• Highly organized and creative.
• Manage and empower employees not reporting to you.
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Self-learner with the ability to manage complex tasks with minimal supervision.
  
  

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• Proven experience in cloud FinOps – an advantage
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams – an advantage.
• Working in a global company / large-scale High-tech company – an advantage.
