Backend Software Engineer

Videocites is a novel AI-based video tracking and analytics company. Comprising state of the art Machine Learning and Computer Vision technologies, our cloud-based SaaS platform is used by global companies in multiple industries: Media and Entertainment, Advertising, Sports and Homeland Security. The company’s products operate in different domains, such as Rights Management of VOD and Live content for premium (Sports, Theatrical, TV, etc.) content owners, advertising and true viewership analytics for brands and advertisers, and others. Videocites was established by several serial entrepreneurs and three renowned CS professors.

We are looking for a Backend SW developer to join our team as we expand our technology and continue to scale up our selling products in huge markets.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire system lifecycle, focusing on design and coding
• Develop core features
• Write massive clean code
• End-to-end application writing
• Build new features that directly impact the future of our product.
• Developing CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science from a known university – a must
• 1-3 years in software development
• Backend development of enterprise level application
• Master Python or Java as programming language
• Strong oral and written communications
• Positive attitude with and eagerness to learn new skills

Plus:

• Software development in CD/ID process
• Experience working on SaaS-based products
• Experienced in designing, developing, and debugging complex, distributed systems (microservices, event-driven)
• Experience in large-scale data processing application (e.g. MongoDB, Elastic Search, Redis, SQL)
• Experience in Cloud services (AWS)
• Experience in Linux
• Experience in Git , Bitbucket
• Experience with 3rd party APIs
• Experience in Jenkins
• Experience in Dockers
• Knowledge in reverse engineering
