We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a new Data and Business Analytics team in a leading insurance company. What You'll Do:

• Learn and define ML model problems to support the organization’s strategy, providing solutions while understanding the business needs of various departments.
• Build complex data structures to support model development and meet the needs of business units across the company.
• Analyze complex datasets using data tools and develop analytics to solve business challenges.
• Perform data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI.
• Develop and validate statistical models and explain them in business terms.
• Deploy models in production and perform validation after implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Proven experience with complex SQL queries in large databases.
• Proficiency in Python and libraries like Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
• Familiarity with models such as Boosting, Random Forest, GLM, Regression, Clustering, PCA, and SVM.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience developing Supervised & Unsupervised statistical models.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/Google Cloud – a significant advantage.
