Python Developer

A global FinTech company developing a cloud-based platform from scratch, which includes technological infrastructures and complex management systems to create innovative financial solutions for end customers.

The platform will allow companies to deploy automated financial processes at the push of a button, resulting in significant cost, time, and resource savings.

The group of companies aims to revolutionize the banking industry (and beyond), bringing it into the 21st century through modern technologies that enable full automation of many financial processes that are currently performed manually.

The company is experiencing tremendous growth, supported by a strong and stable financial backing and long-term investors from its early stages.

Located in Tel Aviv near a train line, they offer a hybrid work model with up to three days of remote work and currently have around 65 employees.

Responsibilities-

• Develop and maintain the backend infrastructure
• Developing complex business processes
• Take part in architectural decisions and discussions
• Solve complex problems, create object models, define APIs, build web services, and more
• Work directly with others (engineers and other internal stakeholders) to develop a solid understanding of the business application and requirements for which the application is being designed
• Tech Stack- Python, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (k8s), CI/CD, NoSQL, SQL.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of backend development experience
• 2 years of hands on node.js or Python experience
• Experience on event streaming technologies, Kafka and scaling
• Experience in AWS, Docker, k8s
• Experience in Agile development, including CI/CD, and automated testing
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases, data workflow management
• High level SQL capabilities
• Experience with designing and building RESTful APIs
• Previous exposure to large-scale systems design
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills in English
