Planner

Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Planner to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring we have the right inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing storage costs. You will be responsible for analyzing sales data, forecasting future needs, and communicating effectively with suppliers and internal departments to maintain efficient inventory flow and contribute to our overall supply chain success.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and production forecasts to develop accurate inventory plans for finished goods and raw materials.
• Implement and maintain an effective inventory management system, including stock level monitoring, cycle counting, and ABC analysis.
• Identify and manage reorder points to ensure timely replenishment of inventory and avoid stockouts.
• Monitor supplier performance, track lead times, and address any inventory-related issues.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand customer demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
• Regularly review and update inventory data to maintain accuracy and transparency.
• Identify opportunities to optimize inventory management processes and reduce carrying costs.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices in inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory planning or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software (a plus).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
