Job Description:
As a Jira Service Management (JSM) Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to
manage and optimize the JSM infrastructure for our client in Herzliya, focusing
specifically on Jira Service Management platform. This role requires strong scripting abilities,
an in-depth understanding of IT service management (ITSM), and the ability to excel both
independently and within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain the JSM infrastructure with precision and expertise.
• Customize the look and feel of JSM based on specific client requirements.
• Build and configure JSM projects from the ground up, ensuring they meet the unique needs of each customer and role/position.
• Develop and deploy automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency within JSM.
• Oversee the entire ticket lifecycle, ensuring smooth and efficient resolution of issues.
• Provide support for queues, manage SLAs, and generate special reports as needed.
• Offer comprehensive end-user support, resolving JSM-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the team while maintaining autonomy, self-motivation, and strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
• Proven track record as a highly skilled JSM Administrator – 1 Year Min or Jira Admin – 1 year.
• Experience with Jira is a must, including building and managing Jira projects.
• Strong expertise in Jira automation, with an ability to build automations within Jira and JSM.
• Familiarity with ITSM methodologies and ticket lifecycle management.
• Experience customizing JSM (look and feel) to match customer requirements.
• Advanced use of JSM tools like SLAs, Queues, and Request Types.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to support.
• Experience with ScriptRunner, Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Groovy, Java (advantage, but not required).
• IMOD clearance (big advantage).
