Cybersecurity Research Analyst

Ford Motor Company, a US-based corporation, is recruiting a Cybersecurity Research Analyst to join our Israel Innovation center and take part in shaping the future of automotive cybersecurity.

At the Israeli Ford center, we are connecting Israel’s automotive ecosystem with Ford’s quest for research and innovation. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small & significant team who leads new technology assimilation and impacts Ford’s mobility strategy worldwide.

‪The cybersecurity research analyst will report to Shiran Grinberg who leads Ford cybersecurity team in the Israeli Innovation Center.

As part of this role, you will be required to:

·       Support Ford factories in EMEA in their cybersecurity operations:

o  Work with local field application engineers on supporting in-vehicle cybersecurity features for EMEA factories vehicle programs.

o  Take part in cybersecurity audits for new vehicle programs.

·       Collaborate with Ford local API security and vehicle SOC operations:

o  Support Ford SOC operations during Sundays and US holidays.

o  Be a contact point for escalations and incident response efforts.

o  Help define SOC playbooks and offer new mitigations and detection logic for SOC and API protection platforms.

In order to succeed we believe that it’s important for you to have:

·        Excellent English

·        At least 3 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry or equivalent military experience

·        At least 1 years of experience in the automotive industry

·        Familiarity with automotive in vehicle architecture and protocols (CAN / Automotive ETH) – an advantage

·        Familiarity with R155 type compliance process – an advantage

·        Familiarity with API security / SOC operations – an advantage

·        Enthusiastic about vehicles and the automotive world

·        Outstanding interpersonal skills and experience working in a global and cross-functional team environment.

·        Self-Starter – Curiosity, Proactiveness, and Consistency for executing meaningful results and impact

·        Team player – we are working as one team, and our culture is ego-less

·        Willing to travel (Up to 2 months a year)
