Position Overview:
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving technical sales and providing exceptional customer support across the Israeli market, with a focus on customers in aerospace, defense, industrial, and space sectors. This role will focus on understanding customer needs, delivering tailored technical solutions, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have some engineering background, excellent communication skills, and experience in technical sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales: Develop and execute technical sales strategies to meet company goals and targets in the Israeli market.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers, assisting with product selection, application, and integration.
- Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding Glenair’s presence in the Israeli market.
- Solution Selling: Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and propose effective solutions using Glenair’s product portfolio.
- Accounts Management: Manage and nurture existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal global teams, including engineering, product development, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Trade Shows and Events: Represent Glenair at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote products and network with potential clients.
- Training: Conduct product training and technical presentations for customers and partners.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field). A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of technical sales experience in the aerospace, defense, or industrial markets.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex products and solutions.
- Language: Fluency in English and Hebrew.
- Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within Israel and occasionally to other locations in US or Europe.
