Computer Vision Engineer

A startup company developing humanoid robots designed for domestic and office roles, such as moving objects, navigating through rooms, and reaching destinations while avoiding obstacles. The company integrates the entire product, from hardware, electronics, and software to AI systems, navigation, control, and monitoring, as well as understanding simple verbal commands and natural language. Industrial production of the robots is planned to begin in 2025.

This is a promising and rapidly growing company that raised $17 million in its Series A round from leading global venture capital firms and is preparing for a Series B round.

The company was founded by three renowned professors specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, and Machine Learning.

Located in the Sharon area near a train line, the company operates from its offices and has 45 employees.

Position Overview:

The role involves working in a hardware environment, developing algorithms in the field of computer vision, primarily using classical methods combined with AI/DL features.

The tasks and models include SLAM, Calibration, State-estimation, Sensor Fusion Algorithms, Odometry, and humanoid robot development, with a focus on bringing these models to production. Coding is primarily in C++, Python, and Rust.

Requirements-

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software development.

• Demonstrated excellence (e.g., elite unit background, academic distinctions, upward career trajectory).

• Proficiency in developing SLAM and computer vision algorithms.

• Experience working with multiple sensors.

• Strong skills in C++/Rust.
