We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst Blockchain to lead our ideas development and implement them in this rapidly evolving sector.

What will you do?  

As the Head of Finance, you will be actively involved in financial planning, management, and reporting. This role requires a proactive approach to drive financial success for Obinex, capitalizing on market opportunities. 

Financial Strategy and Planning: 

• Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with Obinex's goals and market dynamics. 
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and stakeholders. 

Financial Management: 

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including direct involvement in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. 
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements. 
• Maintain proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and any other relevant financial standards. 

Capital Management and Fundraising: 

• Lead management of capital structure, fundraising efforts, and investor relations. 
• Collaborate with executive leadership to optimize financial structures for growth initiatives. 
• Evaluate and strategize Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and other fundraising mechanisms. 

Investors' Due Diligence: 

• Navigate and facilitate investors' due diligence processes, providing transparent and comprehensive financial information. 
• Collaborate closely with investors, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a thorough understanding of financial aspects. 

Risk Management: 

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to ensure the organization's financial health. 
• Implement and manage robust risk management practices to safeguard assets and investments. 

Strategic Financial Decision-Making: 

• Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. 
• Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to drive business expansion. 

Compliance and Governance: 

• Oversee compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and legal requirements. 
• Stay informed about updates in IFRS standards and other relevant financial standards. 
• Establish and manage effective internal controls and governance structures. 

Team Leadership and Development: 

• Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. 
• Empower the finance team to drive performance and achieve strategic goals. 

What will you bring? 

• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA, highly desirable. 
• Strong understanding and interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and decentralized culture. 
• Proven experience (10+ years) as a Finance Director or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the technology, financial, or blockchain industries. 
• In-depth knowledge of financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning. 
• Experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes and international financial markets. 
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a track record of driving financial growth. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at the executive level. 
• Perfect command of English; German and/or Spanish, an asset. 
• Collaborate effectively within the leadership team and with external stakeholders. 
• Comfortable with remote work and asynchronous schedules.
