Senior Data Scientist

Job description-

A challenging role in a new team in the making with lots of room to grow

As part of the data and business analysis group (Data Office) under the technology division of the company. Reporting to the Data Science team manager. Transversal role that touches on various aspects of the company's activities

The role includes-

Learning and characterization of ML model problems to support the organization's strategy, providing answers while understanding the needs and business activities of the various organizational units

Establishing complex data structures for the needs of developing models and using business units in the company

Analyzing complex data with data tools and building analytics to solve business problems

Ability to perform visual investigations of data in BI tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI

Development and validation of statistical models and explanation of models in business language

Implementation of models in production and validation of models after their implementation

Job requirements-

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management / economics / statistics / computer science / mathematics

At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist

Experience and proof of knowledge in complex SQL queries against large databases

Experience in Python and knowledge of basic libraries such as Pandas/ Numpy/ sklearn seaborn/ matplotlib

Knowledge of models such as Boosting/ Random Forest/ GLM/ Regression/ Clustering/ PCA/ SVM

AWS experience

Experience in developing Supervised & Unsupervised statistical models

Knowledge of the cloud worlds AWS/Azure/Google Cloude - a significant advantage

High analytical and technical abilities - mandatory

Work in financial organizations - an advantage

Systematic vision and understanding of complex processes - an advantage

High level English - reading and writing.
