Machine Learning Engineer

A startup at the forefront of AI is leveraging LLMs and Generative AI (GenAI) to develop an automated end-to-end testing system based on real user behavior and data analysis. The company's AI models learn how to interact with applications, creating realistic and resilient tests that help engineering teams move quickly.

The company is located in central Israel, with a hybrid work model (two days from home).

Currently, they have 5 employees and are in the early stages, well-funded, founded by serial entrepreneurs who have led exits worth over $1B to Salesforce and Microsoft.

This is an opportunity to join the core team of an Israeli American startup at the cutting edge of technology, providing a critical solution for organizations.

Role description:

• Opportunity to evolve into a Lead role with broad responsibility for advancing the ML domain.
• Reporting to the VP of Development.
• Involves end-to-end research and development, primarily focused on:
• NLP and LLM with Transformers.
• Researching and building neural networks.
• Training models, working with Embeddings, VectorDB, and RAG.
• Working with Generative AI (GenAI).
• Involves optimization and quantization using GPTQ and (Q)LoRA.
• Work in an Azure environment with a focus on:
• MLOps, CI/CD, model pipelines, and model deployment.
• Coding primarily in Python, using ML/DL libraries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or other related fields.
• 3+ years of experience as an Algorithm Engineer or Data Scientist (E2E) – mandatory
• Experience with LLMs (grew from NLP) – mandatory
• Proficiency in Python – mandatory
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher – mandatory (master’s degree preferred)
