A startup company developing a product that identifies locations with GPS-level precision down to a centimeter, even in areas without GPS coverage, using a wireless network based on Wi-Fi. The solution is powered by a new portable wireless location sensor, based on patented detection technology.
The company, located in Tel Aviv near a train line, is well-funded, with 25 employees and growing.
They work in a hybrid model with one day a week from home, and it is a highly interesting and tech-driven company.
The role is part of a team, involving work from research and POC to the official release of the product to development environments. The work includes algorithms for signal processing and Machine Learning in Python, with research in fields such as Navigation, Communication, Radars, Robotics, and IoT. Tasks include Time/Frequency Synchronization, AGC, RF Channel Estimation, Equalization, Decoding, and working with tools like Jupyter, GIT, C/C++/RT/EM, and more.
Requirements-
- Academic degree with a major in communication, signal processing, electronics or systems
- 3 years of work experience in the fields of communication, semiconductors, radars, robotics, IoT ,5G or similar, preferably in startup environment.
- Good understanding of DSP algorithms, such as time/frequency synchronization, AGC, RF channel estimation, equalization, decoding.
- Previous experience in both algorithm research, development and implementation (from research and POC to official product release) is highly preferred.
- Ability to extensive debug of HW and SW systems, rigorous analysis of experimental data, identification, and analysis of problems
