Senior Backend Developer

The opportunity

We're looking for a brilliant Scala developer to join our R&D team. As a part of the team you will develop features at the core of the system’s backend involving inference from deep learning models, while improving performance, scalability, and availability.

You'll develop features in a high concurrency high performance real-time bidding system, using high performance no-sql technology stack such as Kafka, Spark, Aerospike, redis.

The team's domain is located at the core of the backend services, being in the critical path of the company's revenue flow.

We’re looking for a seasoned backend developer, to enrich the team with new knowledge and experience, lead complex projects, and help us think of required adjustments and improvements to the system.

• Initiate and execute new ideas and technological methodologies
• Design and plan solutions to enhance the product capabilities

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in designing and building large scale systems
• Experience with Java, Scala or Go
• Experience with at least one of the following technologies: Kafka/Aerospike/AWS/Spark/K8s
• Understanding of performance considerations: scale, latency, throughput, cpu, connections
• Experience with data pipelines

• Understanding of functional and object oriented design patterns
• Experience with DS models inference / training
