Solutions Engineering Team Lead

Description

Our engineers in the solution team are the primary technical experts, responsible for actively driving and managing the technical components of the pre and post sales engagement. As a software Engineer Team Lead, you will assist with ad-hoc technical issues, questions and research requests and provide custom postman examples, as well as manage a team of talented engineers and web-scrapers. While you will be part of Nimble’s solutions team, you will work day to day with non-technical stakeholders on the Sales and Customer Success teams, fielding their requests and questions, and serving as an internal technical advisor and subject matter expert.

This is a pivotal role, focused on balancing various aspects of the client delivery by creating a sustainable plan for action.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of talented software engineers by demonstrating hands-on engineering expertise.
• Bring a highly technical and analytical view to solving customer challenges.
• Use your strong development background to serve as the technical lead throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Proactively identify ideas to help drive stronger product performance and implement those ideas from start to finish.
• Be the technical product expert and advisor for customers and stay up-to-date on the data solutions competitive landscape.
• Employ your natural curiosity in building solutions for our clients
• Work closely with the Engineering and Web-scraping teams.
  
  

• 5+ years in a software developing Role, preferably in a SaaS product startup company.
• 2+ years of management experience in a fast-paced startup.
• Proven track record of maintaining team environments that are collaborative, empowering, supportive, and challenging.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, XPath, HTTP networking, GraphQL, Fetch API).
• Demonstrate Web scraping understanding/capabilities.
• Passion for diving into technical issues and solving customer challenges
• Programming skills with any one of the following: Python, Golang, Javascript
• Experience in at least one of the major cloud services providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
