General description

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a project manager for the Purchasing department. This role is designed for individuals with strong analytical skills, charismatic personalities, and exceptional operational abilities. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and exposure to various aspects of the shipping industry, preparing them for future leadership roles within our organization.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Operational Excellence: Assist in the management of daily shipping operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
• Data Analysis: Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimize performance.
• Leadership Development: Participate in leadership training programs and take on supervisory roles in projects and teams to develop management skills.
• Project Management: Lead and support various projects aimed at improving operational processes and customer satisfaction.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different departments, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business.

Qualifications

• BA in Industrial engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• An ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
