We are seeking an experienced Frontend Software engineer who is passionate about building scalable distributed systems for Dell’s rapidly expanding Edge Business.

What You’ll Achieve

The Dell Technologies Edge Portfolio team is developing a North Star architecture and SW Platform that enables Dell to win at the edge. You will have an exciting opportunity to make a huge impact on the Dell’s strategic Edge business while building a highly scalable software platform with cutting-edge technologies.

As a Senior Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software features and capabilities that span the entire product architecture.

You will:

• Work with User Experience, Product Manager, architects, and backend peers to design and iterate the UI infrastructure and features.
• Build scalable, reliable, and usable frontend solutions.
• Drive critical decisions and design choices with stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers on the team.
• Maintain the team’s culture of high quality and product excellence.

Essential Requirements

• Engineering degree in Computer Sciences/Software from a well-known institute
• At least 12+ years of application design & development, 5+ years specifically with React.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS and Preprocessors – LESS, SASS
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Micro Frontends, Module Federation, SPA.
• Experience with testing libraries (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and end-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress).
  
  

Desirable Requirements

• Background in software architecture and ability to contribute to system design discussions.
• Previous experience in a senior or lead engineer role, mentoring junior developers.
