Data infrastructure team manager

A leading financial company located in Petah Tikva is looking for a talented and experienced manager to lead the Data infrastructure team.
The position requires management skills but at the same time requires in-depth technological knowledge and understanding, including dealing with complex cross-technological systems.
Leading a team of 8 experienced and independent professionals.
• Project management - implementation of work methodologies, division of tasks, calendars and contact with data consumers in the company
• Architecture - accompanying the developers and Data Engineers, planning, control and promotion of Data strategy
• Working in a cloud environment (Azure/GCP), mainly with Microsoft technologies and Big Data tools (Databricks)
• Investigating new technologies and innovative products in the worlds of Data

Mandatory requirements
• Management experience of about two years as a team leader.
• In-depth knowledge of ETL processes and Data Architecture
• In-depth knowledge of relational Microsoft technologies: SQL Server, SSIS processes, Tabular
• In-depth knowledge of Big Data technologies: Databricks, Azure Datafactory, Data Lake
Requirements that are an advantage
• Experience with report tools: PowerBI and SAP BO
• Introduction to Google Cloud - Big Query, Google Auto ML
• Ability to work independently in a multi-task and project environment.
