DevOps Group Leader

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Group Leader to join our growing R&D department of the DatAdvantage Cloud.

In this managerial role, you will be responsible for leading DevOps Team (managed by Devops Team Leads), SRE and FinOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor of growing team responsible for all Devops aspects and also DevSecOps and SecOps.
• Collaborate with various engineering teams on designing and implementing new features for our cloud platform.
• Oversee the implementation of applications, integrations, and interfaces across our web ecosystem.
• Fully automate critical systems processes to improve service performance, monitoring, scalability, and overall stability of our cloud platform.
• Refine and improve our continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) to streamline deployment and product release cycles.
• Roll out a standardized approach to security for the cloud.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience managing a DevOps team in an Agile environment.
• Expertise in AWS - good knowledge in basics (vpc, ec2, iam, s3), RDS, Lambda, Api GW, CodeBuild, EKS, Route53, CloudFront, SecretManager and ALB
• Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scopes concurrently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Linux/Unix experience, including command line and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure Provisioning Tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
• Experience in building, running and scaling microservices using K8s (clusters, pods, Helm, etc…)
• Experience putting together build pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc…)
• Knowledge of systems security and experience managing VPN/PKI infrastructure
• Experience with Systems Monitoring/Alerting (ELK, DataDog, Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc…)
• Experience managing SQL and noSQL databases in the cloud (RDS, DynamoDB, Elastic, MemCache)
  
  

• Advanced scripting skills (Bash, Python)
• Experience with Streaming and queue solutions in the cloud (Kafka, Confluent, RabbitMQ)
