Research Team Lead

OX Security seeks an intelligent, curious, creative, and security research manager to lead product innovation in static code analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of our core engineering and leadership team, developing our new security technology.
• Lead a hybrid team of developers, analysts, researchers, and data scientists
• Develop new capabilities based on your own/peers' research from the scratchboard/POC to production.
• Innovate, investigate, and evaluate technologies & algorithms
• Prototype these technologies & algorithms within our solution.
• Analyze live customer security data to evaluate the solution's effectiveness.
• Work closely with the dev team to bring those technologies to production.
• Contribute to OX Security thought leadership in publications, blogs, conferences, etc.
  
  

• 3+ years of team lead experience
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in security or technology research.
• 2+ years of Hands-on experience in programming (NodeJS/Python)
• In-depth understanding of application security and the SDLC process
• Experience with cloud architecture skills - Advantage
• International conference talk experience - Advantage
• Excellent communication and a great team member. Work daily with our product and the rest of the engineering team to make things work
