Cobol Programmer

We're looking for a talented Cobol Developer to join our financial company in Central Israel.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and maintain Cobol applications in a mainframe environment

-Utilize AS400 for application development and maintenance

-Work with Cobol CICS for transaction processing and application performance

-Manage and query databases using Adabas

-Write and maintain JCL scripts for job scheduling and execution

-Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in Cobol development within a mainframe environment
• Proficient in AS400 system and its applications
• Experience with Cobol CICS for transaction handling
• Experience working with Adabas database operations
• Familiarity with JCL for job control language scripting
