Senior Network Engineer

We are now looking for a Senior Network Engineer and leader. NVIDIA Network Engineering team is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join its fast paced and results oriented team. Challenges include balancing project responsibilities with escalated operational issues. If you have a primary skill set in the routing and switching foundation, with the ability to define and lead primarily LABs, Data Center & Site network projects globally this job might be for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designs, plans and coordinates the implementation of network technologies in support of defined requirements generated by business and growth demands.
• Validate project requirements, define project scope, develop project schedules and produce detailed designs for assigned projects.
• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
• Participate in incident response to resolve escalated service issues involving transit lines, cross-connects, switches and other parts of networking infrastructure.
• Use and troubleshoot using monitoring tools and has in-depth knowledge of alerting and infrastructure management.
  
  

• Networking certification desired – CCNP certificate (CCIE is an advantage)
• 5+ years proven as network engineer experience - progressive experience in network engineering support environment (MUST).
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols TCP/IP and LAN switching protocols as STP, VLANs, L2, L3, QoS.
• Hands On experience & deep understanding of Checkpoint & Palo Alto Firewalls, load balancing platforms (an advantage), SSL VPN platforms ,Cisco ,HP & Arista switches.
• Experience with: WAN circuits and protocols (MPLS, DMVPN, Optimization), Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), troubleshooting methodologies.
• High level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
• Knowledge of network management, network availability and capacity planning.
• Expertise in interfacing with carriers to manage circuit delivery, troubleshooting and migration.
