Junior Content Writer

Crowded is looking to expand its marketing team with a Content Writer! We’re looking for an eager-to-learn team player who will write day in and day out. Someone who can self-teach new topics, understand our product, and create fun and original content around it in our brand voice.

What you’ll do:

• Create informative blogs and supporting content for the Crowded website
• Produce articles for the customer support knowledge base
• Write video scripts and guides for the Crowded platform
• Develop meaningful content for the nonprofit industry on a variety of platforms
• Take part in designing the marketing content strategy
• Research the nonprofit industry, competitive landscape & target audience
• Create content for the company’s social media platforms
• Support the marketing team on events, conferences & webinars

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
• Native-level English skills required
• A background or internship in Content Writing, Journalism, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong desire to learn about content marketing & nonprofits
• Ability to do independent research on complex topics (i.e. nonprofit tax compliance) and write original content based on findings
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Experience with nonprofit organizations in the USA (greek life, volunteering, Girl Scouts, summer camp, etc.)

A plus:

• 1-2 years of experience in Content Writing
• An understanding of SEO and experience with on-page SEO optimization
• Experience with WordPress (Elementor) and website management
• Social media content creation (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
• Narration and speaking skills, comfortable speaking in front of a camera
• Experience with design tools such as Figma or video editing tools like After Effects
