Role Description

As the VP of R&D at Argu.ai, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and leading backend development efforts. This is a Hands-On position that involves building infrastructure from the ground up for air-gapped environments and developing backend systems using Go and Python.

You will collaborate closely with the CTO and CEO, actively contributing to team building, system design, and making key technological decisions that drive the company's success.

Qualifications

• Proven Experience in leading teams and startups to success, overcoming major technological challenges
• 6+ years in Backend development skills in Go and proficiency in Python
• 6+ years in architecture design and DevOps Engineering
• Extensive experience in Infrastructure Configuration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Apache spark.
• Some experience in video streaming/video protocols like HLS, WebRTC, RTSP/IP
• Familiarity with Redis, Kafka, PostgreSQL
• Extensive experience in using Docker, managing environments on Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in deploying and managing scalable air-gapped systems

Huge advantage (but not a must):

• Some experience with AI/ML, MLOps, LLMs/VLMs implementation and algorithmics
• HUGE advantage for managerial experience with business experience
