We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team. This is not your typical Business Development opportunity. At Jifiti, you’ll generate and nurture leads, and take them through the sales process, in collaboration with our team. You will be targeting enterprises, Fortune 500 companies, and major banks and lenders, through creative and strategic research and networking.
Successful candidates can identify a target’s needs and decision-makers and tailor their outreach accordingly. More than anything, we are seeking bright, driven people to join us, help drive revenue, and directly impact Jifiti’s growth. If you’re the type of person who likes to figure out where problems exist, solve them, and take on unique challenges, we’d love to learn more about you!
Responsibilities
- Generate quality sales opportunities through proactive, strategic prospecting and networking
- Manage sales opportunities - create and execute a multi-faceted prospecting plan through research, outreach, leveraging personal networks, and following up on marketing-generated leads
- Present technical products and innovative solutions to prospects from managers to C-levels.
- Research industries and individual companies to find the best targets and establish, develop, and nurture relationships with representatives at target companies through a variety of mediums
- Apply proven sales approaches and techniques developed internally at Jifiti
- Identify and address prospects’ key questions and pain points
- Collaborate closely with our marketing team to create high-quality demand-generation
- Work as part of the Business Development team and other company resources to win and close new business for Jifiti
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in customer-facing roles within B2B technology companies- a must
- Having expertise in the payments, banking, or fintech industry - a strong advantage
- Experience in partnerships/sales management/ consultancy- an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical & research skills and ability to use both in an effective and relevant way in a sales process
- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable, and able to build relationships with prospects
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment with minimum supervision
- Self-starter, with the ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Native English speaker- a must
- Additional languages (i.e. Spanish, French, German, Italian) - advantage
