Job Description:

As a Control Engineer, you will be a key player in the design, programming, and optimization of control systems for innovative climate tech products. Working in close collaboration with other engineering teams, the R&D department, and external contractors, you’ll ensure that the company's products are designed and built with precision. You will also work on programming industrial controllers, wiring, and system integration while collaborating with external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, program, and integrate control systems with a focus on Siemens controllers and HMI interfaces.
• Write and maintain control documentation, including P&ID diagrams, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), and HMI documentation.
• Lead the selection and integration of hardware and firmware components for the product’s control system.
• Work closely with external contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of control systems and components.
• Develop and optimize airflow system designs and collaborate with the mechanical design team on system requirements.
• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure that product goals are met efficiently.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in programming industrial controllers with a strong emphasis on Siemens PLCs.
• Hands-on experience in writing control system documentation such as P&IDs, FDS, and HMI.
• Experience with wiring and integrating controllers – a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in hardware component selection and firmware integration.
• Experience with airflow system design and control – highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes.
• Strong experience working with external suppliers and contractors.
• A "hands-on" approach with a commitment to excellence in execution.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) and Hebrew.
