Purchasing and Inventory Manager (3163)

a fast-growing startup focused on innovation and sustainability is looking for someone to help build a strong foundation in purchasing and inventory as they scale up.

Job Description:

As the Purchasing and Inventory Manager, you'll play a key role in the company's supply chain, ensuring production runs smoothly from supplier engagement to inventory management. You’ll be working directly with the company's CEO and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing:

• Manage supplier relationships in collaboration with R&D and engineering teams
• Lead supplier negotiations, set up agreements, and manage quality standards
• Handle purchase orders through the ERP system, working with finance to ensure timely execution
• Develop and maintain strong, value-driven supplier relationships

Inventory Management:

• Help establish an inventory system, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure material availability to meet production needs
• Work with cross-functional teams to align inventory levels with project requirements
• Monitor and adjust inventory levels to optimize supply while minimizing waste

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing and procurement (startup experience is a plus!)
• Experience in the chemicals industry is a plus
• Familiarity with inventory management and ERP systems is advantageous
• Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is a plus but not required
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• Energetic, open-minded, and eager to take initiative in a dynamic environment
• A creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced setting

This is an on-site full time position near Yokneam
