QA Engineer (iOS)

Popixels is seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our R&D team.

We specialize in developing intuitive, professional-quality iOS video editing apps, empowering creators and brands with over 20 million users worldwide. As a member of our small, dynamic team, you’ll have a direct impact on the final product and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our iOS apps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test new features and conduct end-to-end and regression testing before new version releases.
• Maintain and update test cases, protocols, and documentation.
• Define and implement testing procedures—when and what to test.
• Collaborate closely with iOS developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs.
• Assist the customer support team in reproducing and addressing customer-reported issues.
• (Optional) Write and maintain UI automation tests for core features.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a mobile QA tester, focusing on iOS apps.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles (functional, regression, and performance testing).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitrise, Jenkins, GitHub CI).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile QA automation tools (e.g., Appium, XCTest) is a plus.
• Mobile development experience or familiarity with Swift is a plus.
