Big Data Developer

A global Big Data company developing advanced Ad Tech products, including one of the largest video advertising platforms in the U.S. This platform has the capability to tailor ads to viewers in real time using machine learning models and LLMs, all while operating at massive scale.

The company is publicly traded on NASDAQ, with a global workforce of 900 employees, including 200 in Israel, half of whom are part of the R&D department.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, near a train station, and offers a hybrid work model with 3 days from home. It is profitable and works with some of the largest brands in the world, constantly upgrading its technology to stay at the forefront of the industry.

Role Overview

As part of a team, you will be developing streaming systems using Java with technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, BitmaDB, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Grafana, InfluxDB, and Kibana.

Requirements-

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/computer engineering or equivalent degrees

• 6+ years of data engineering experience

• Experience with Pipelines/ETLs/Hadoop/Spark/Kafka/Streaming systems

• 3+ years of experience in Java or Scala.

• Experience with SQL & NOSQL DBs.

• Experience in dealing with performance and high scale systems

• Experience with Kubernetes - advantage

• Experience with Gitlab, Grafana, InfluxDb, Kibana – advantage

• Team player, ego less, strong communication skills.
