Embedded Software Engineer

A multidisciplinary medical high-tech company developing three life-saving software-based medical products, already with paying customers. The company specializes in the development and manufacturing of non-invasive devices that can save lives in medical emergencies, particularly for critical support in respiratory and cardiac systems.

The company is located in the Sharon area, and employees work from the office. The company currently employs 33 people.

Role Overview

• Reporting to the Head of Development, the role includes leading technological efforts with the expectation of directly managing developers after about a year.
• You will join the team to build a new product at a company focused on life-saving medical solutions, which is experiencing significant growth.
• Development of Real-Time Embedded systems on Linux and RTOS using C.

Requirements-

• Software engineer/Computer Science BSc or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in embedded systems development, including knowledge of microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and embedded software development tools.
• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used in embedded systems such as C/C++.
• Experience with HW/SW interfaces on the board, chip level and integration.
• Knowledge in Linux and RTOS operating system
• Ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and manage resources effectively.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility.
• Experience in managing or leading a team of embedded software engineers.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
