Bookkeeper

The opportunity:

In this role, you will be part of our growing finance team, reporting to the Controller.

Managing day-to-day accounting operations and monthly closing process.

The Ideal candidate is a highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills.

In this position you will be asked to:

Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, AP ledger, AR ledger and General ledger.

Bring the books to the trial balance stage.

Perform partial checks of the posting process.

Perform bank reconciliation and complete tax forms.

Control employee travel & expense reimbursement reports.

Ability to quickly identify and resolve financial discrepancies and issues efficiently

Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.

Perform other finance ad-hoc tasks as required.

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Certified bookkeeper (Minimum type 2. type 3 is an advantage).
• 2-4 years experience as a bookkeeper in a hi-tech company - advantage.
• Significant experience working with Priority - a must.
• High level of English, both verbal and written- a must.
• Full proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Attention to details and accuracy of work.
• Good interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
