Physicist Electro-Optics Engineer

We are looking for a Physicist Electro-Optics Engineer to join us at the Missiles and Space Systems Division.

What will you do:

• Conduct experimental and theoretical research for the development of seeker heads.
• Review academic articles and conduct literature surveys.
• Perform laboratory experiments at various sites.
• Perform analyses and performance assessments, conduct peer reviews, and write reports.
• Collaborate with algorithm developers, system engineers, subcontractors, and manufacturers.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Physics / Electro-Optics Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering – mandatory.
• Master's or Ph.D. in Physics / Electro-Optics Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering – an advantage.
• Over 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience – mandatory.
• Deep understanding of wave optics, Gaussian beams, radiometry, and blackbody radiation – mandatory.
• Practical experience in radiometry and thermal imaging – an advantage.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python – mandatory.
• Experience with optical design software such as Modtran, Zemax, Oslo, or LabView – an advantage.
