Mission: The Railway Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing faults in signaling systems and associated railway equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of various technical components critical to railway safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues with signaling equipment, including:
• Track beacons
• On-board tram equipment (e.g., antennas, calculators)
• Cabinet equipment in interlockings
• Work Delivery: Ensure accurate implementation and timely delivery of all completed work to clients.
• Reporting: Document all system breakdowns and technical issues in reports to the relevant manager.
• Incident Reporting: Promptly report any incidents or technical problems to the maintenance supervisor.
• Technical Support: Provide operational support for ongoing projects in the area.
• Innovation: Propose and implement new techniques, tools, procedures, and technologies to enhance daily operations.

Requirements:

• Education: Technical training in electronics, electrical systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the railway sector, with a focus on signaling systems preferred.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Strong technical knowledge in electronics and communication systems
• Familiarity with the use of laptops and hand tools
• Effective communication skills for client and team interactions
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to technical challenges
