Senior QA Engineer - Backend Oriented - Manual

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer to join our dynamic server team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our games. Your primary responsibility will be to perform comprehensive testing over the server-side and somewhat client-side, to identify and report any defects or issues.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end testing (Mostly backend) of a web-based game to ensure the high-quality of our product.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to drive quality throughout the development life cycle.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects through their lifecycle, ensuring proper resolution and closure.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a server-side QA Engineer.
• Proven experience testing server-side components.
• Possess critical thinking abilities and strong analytical skills.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and bug life cycle.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Gaming industry experience - a huge advantage.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment - an advantage.
• ISTQB certification - an advantage.
• Strong understanding of JSON file structure, schema validation, and data integrity verification.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB), API tests (postman) DevTools - an advantage.
