New Product Introduction Engineer

The Product/NPI engineer will take part in all aspects of the product lifecycle from development to manufacturing and will be key in moving the company's production capabilities forward.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Lead NPIs projects and coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure manufacturing plans that meet the product's goals in the aspect of Design for Excellence (DfX)
2. Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMEA) , Quality and time to market (TTM).
3. Find solutions to facilitate further cost reductions and improve reliability, performance, and product feature extensions.
4. Manage and support configuration control, BOM components, catalog of parts, documentation, and design changes (ECO), etc.
5. Provide engineering support in all activities in the product development and manufacturing process to production lines, Customer support, Sourcing and Subcontractors
6. Prepare project timeline and identify all resources required for manufacturing production readiness (PRR).
7. Address supplier's issues, such as Obsolescence and replacement components

Mandatory Must have in this role:

1. BSc degree in Mechanical engineering
2. At least 3 years of experience in NPI or Production Engineering roles
3. Experience in mechanical design
4. Prior experience in manufacturing and operation experience.
5. Ability to solve technical problems while working on a multidisciplinary product
6. Self-motivated, self-maintained and able to take the initiative to solve problems
7. Strong understanding of an operational workflow process
8. Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
9. Ability to work under pressure and be flexible with changes
10. Ability to present technical information and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
11. Ability to motivate people and teamwork skills
12. Multi-tasking capability with task priorities and organized working methodologies
13. Experience in CAD software — Solid Works is an advantage
14. Experience in leading a DFX process
15. Experience in PDM/ EDM tools — Solid Works PDM is an advantage
16. Experience in ERP systems — Priority is an advantage
