Full Stack Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Lead with a strong focus on front-end technologies and significant experience in AWS services. As the Full Stack Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers and driving the development of innovative, scalable, and high-quality Questar Telematics cloud solutions. Your role will encompass both hands-on coding and technical leadership, making you a key contributor to our organization’s success. This role requires a deep understanding of modern front-end frameworks, strong leadership skills, and expertise in AWS cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of full-stack and mobile developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive high performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, firmware developers, and other stakeholders, to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure coding standards are maintained, and promote best practices in software development.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies, and advocate for their adoption within the team.
• Manage technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API documentation, and user guides.
• Architect, design, and implement responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using modern frameworks such as React/Redux.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs using AWS technologies, including but not limited to EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, ElastiCache, and S3.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely resolutions and proactive improvements.
• Ensure the quality, performance, and security of software applications by implementing best practices and conducting thorough testing.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on front-end technologies.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role.
• Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as React/Redux.
• Strong knowledge of website programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Python and C#.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills. 
• Experience with AWS development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for deploying and managing applications.
• Soft Skills:
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
