Kubiya teammate is a conversational AI-powered internal developer platform that leverages Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to provide a self-serve interface. Using Kubiya engineering teams can consume DevOps services simply by conversing with their personal DevOps assistant, Kubi. Using Kubiya, engineers can access resources from dozens of popular engineering tools. Simply ask Kubi to run CI jobs, list deployments, create and manage Kubernetes namespaces, create, update and query Jira tickets, update configuration files in Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket and more.

By reducing the time-to-automation to a casual English sentence, operations teams can delegate the undifferentiated heavy-lifting roles such as solving Jira queues, allowing for self-service infrastructure, managing CICD pipelines, handling elevated permissions, and self-healing systems. AI Teammates liberate human talent, enabling them to drive forward the initiatives that differentiate and propel the organization without paying the penalty of the human talent needing to do it at the expense of business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Be an active part of our Core Backend team, which is responsible for managing a multifaceted, multi-cloud, hybrid SaaS infrastructure that supports production workloads and serves customers globally, operating distributed Kubernetes clusters.
• Understanding of the distributed systems design, interactions between cloud technology layers and components, basic dependencies at scale, and the code that defines infrastructures.
• Develop comprehensive technical expertise across the architecture, code, features, operations, and full usage scenarios of products to foster continuous improvements.
• Contribute to the foundational aspects and architecture of the product, sharing knowledge and code, and consistently seeking ways to enhance the utility for various teams and products.
• Exhibit thorough expertise in distributed systems design and the interactions between different layers of cloud technology.

Interested?
Here’s what we’re looking for :

• 3-6 + years in Python programming.
• Experience in working with any database (relational/non-relational) and modeling entities.
• Experience in initiating and leading complex projects and feature development across multiple teams.
• Solid understanding of Microservice architectures
• Experience with monitoring business logic in production environment .
• Knowledge with infrastructure such as k8s, jaeger, prometheus/grafana (advantage)
