Clinical Bochemistry Specialist

Summary: Conduct complex biochemical tests using gas and liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry technologies for the diagnosis and treatment metabolic diseases.

Duties and responsibilities
• Perform according to SOPs complex pre-analytical and analytical procedures related to GC-MS and LC-MS and other technologies assure quality control criteria and report results within established time frame
• Develop perform validate evaluate and interpret laboratory results and ascertain their accuracy.
• Assume responsibility for all aspects of operation in area of specialty including preparation and maintenance of records and reports analysis of testing methodologies tending to instruments and ensure compliance with SOPs.
Requirements
• MSc or PhD degree with an emphasis in analytical (bio)chemistry or related laboratory sciences.
• Problem solving approach to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Technical skills to follow operation manuals and perform daily maintenance of equipment.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC and mass spectrometry is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently but with good communication skills and ability to in a team
