DoubleVerify is an Israeli-founded big data analytics company (Stock: NYSE: DV). We track and analyze tens of billions of ads every day for the biggest brands in the world.

We operate at a massive scale, handling over 100B events per day and over 1M RPS at peak, we process events in real-time at low latencies (ms) and analyze over 2.5M video years every day. We verify that all ads are fraud free, appear next to appropriate content, appear to people in the right geography and measure the viewability and user’s engagement throughout the ad’s lifecycle.

What Will You Do

DoubleVerify’s work in the ecosystem of Online Fraud builds a better industry and promotes a safer, cleaner internet. The most sophisticated cyber criminals out there are choosing AdTech fraud as their preferred monetization scheme, knowing that there are millions of dollars to gain on each attack. DV leads the space of AdTech fraud prevention. We are constantly growing, constantly nurturing talents - and we need your help.

We’re looking for curious, intuitive, motivated interns, with an open mind and a willingness to learn about data analytics methodologies and AdTech risk management practices. We’d love to meet and brainstorm with you.

This role is a 10-month full-time position, including Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in our office in Tel Aviv, next to Hashalom train station. Flexible working hours.

Your Job Will Include

• Conducting data driven reviews of potential fraud cases to provide Fraud Analysts feedback on their research theories. Supporting investigations and bringing up leads of your own. Using SQL is part of our daily routine. If you’d like, you can also use Python and various Data Science tools and practices.
• Written communication with various product, engineering and commercial teams globally. Learning and documentation of methodologies, contributing ideas and testing your hypothesis for the benefit of our clients and our teams.
• Optional: Supporting data infrastructure work by performing sanity checks, acceptance testing and light data engineering tasks in big-data environments.
  
  

• Organized and independently motivated individual
• Quick and critical analytical thinking with great attention to details
• Working knowledge of SQL, Google Sheets, Drive, and Docs. BI tools (e.g. LookerStudio), DataBricks, Python- an advantage
• Work your way independently from an initial lead, but also get inspired from consultations with others
• The ability to coherently communicate (in written English)
• Creative problem solver
• Curious to learn about digital advertising. Experience in the field - an advantage.
