- Analysis MRP requirements and creation of orders throughout the ERP system
- Following order after it arrives at the supplier
- Status updates of the orders in the ERP system and fluent contact with suppliers
- Supplier overall management: Strategy/negotiations with suppliers/contracts, on site audit, evaluation
- Producing reports and analyzes for different activities
- Finding creative solutions for different problems regarding the orders: prices, delivery dates etc.
- Multiple work interfaces within the organization and outside organizations in Israel and abroad
- Wide Knowledge of bill of material/Engineering change
- B.A degree
- 5-7 years of experience in purchasing / material planning purchasing electronics, optics, mechanics
- Fluent English
- Experience in ERP systems / MRP planning module
- Procurement in a variety of different commodities
- Experience in closing strategic contracts with suppliers – an advantage
- Experience from a global organization - an advantage
- Oracle / NetSuite system experience - an advantage
