Join our development and manufacturing team in the advanced medical device industry!

In this role, you will support the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and prototypes, while gaining hands-on experience with innovative polymer and coating technologies. Success in this position means contributing to efficient prototype development, supporting smooth transition to manufacturing, and collaborating closely with engineering and project teams to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Design and draft mechanical components and assemblies from concept through production.
Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
Prepare and update technical documentation and design reports in collaboration with engineering.
Support project managers to ensure successful product design and transfer to production or 3D printing.
Perform reverse engineering and develop 3D models based on existing drawings.
Conduct quality checks using precision measurement tools.
Participate in production processes involving advanced polymer coating technologies.
Carry out hands-on lab and clean-room work, including solution preparation and final product testing.

Qualifications

Experience with SolidWorks — strong advantage.
Experience preparing manufacturing drawings, including assemblies and tolerances — advantage.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Mechanical engineering technician certification — advantage.
