Quality Assurance Manager

Position Overview: Israel Shipyards seeks a highly skilled quality assurance manager to lead our quality initiatives and ensure our operations meet the highest standards of excellence. This pivotal role will oversee the quality assurance department, implement robust quality policies, and collaborate across multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Quality Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce quality policies and procedures throughout the plant to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks while working under various constraints.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with operations, engineering, purchasing, and logistics to enhance quality processes and product integrity.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in quality management or quality engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in quality assurance within metalworking or related fields, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
• Work Ethic: High personal responsibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background and experience in the technological framework of the Navy related to quality assurance and management practices.
• Familiarity with advanced quality control tools and methodologies is a plus.
