Marketing Manager

Position Overview: Israel Shipyards is seeking a dynamic Naval Marketing Manager to spearhead our marketing initiatives within the maritime defense sector. This key role will focus on regional market development, client relationship management, and strategic sales processes to drive growth and enhance our competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Development: Identify and engage potential customers in the designated territory, leading the sales process from initial contact to order while effectively collaborating with intermediaries.
• Proposal Preparation: Develop and present comprehensive pricing proposals in partnership with shipyard stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
• Opportunity Identification: Recognize and leverage marketing opportunities globally to expand our market presence and drive revenue.
• Military Vessel Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of military maritime vessels to inform marketing strategies and enhance product positioning.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Economics, Engineering, or Business Administration from a recognized institution; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in marketing defense products or complex industrial products within medium to large organizations, demonstrating a successful track record.
• Marketing Proficiency: Strong marketing orientation, proven ability to generate leads, high energy levels, and excellent logical reasoning skills.
• Financial Acumen: Understand financial principles to assess market trends and opportunities.
• Communication Excellence: Fluent in English, with solid skills in speaking, reading, and writing; adept at preparing and delivering impactful presentations. Proficiency in additional languages, Portuguese, Spanish, and/or French, is advantageous.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours and travel domestically and internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference for candidates with a master’s degree in economics or business administration from a recognized institution.
• Graduated from a naval officers’ course with significant service experience in the Navy.
• Strong managerial experience in team leadership and goal setting.
• Experience as a commander of naval vessels in the Navy.
