Financial Controller

One of our clients - a B2B SAAS company (250~ employees) is looking to hire a Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• O Overall accountability on all accounting-related items of the department
• Ownership of the monthly closing process and preparation of the consolidated financial statements, revenues, and relevant working papers
• Ownership of subsidiaries' annual tax returns and other statutory reporting requirements globally
• Work with the Company's external auditors/advisors on audit, accounting, and other matters.
• Manage subsidiary's ongoing compliance and tax
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and quarterly re-forecasting
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Lead efficiency and automation of financial processes and systems
• Support global expansion and implement procedures in accordance with company standards
• Proactively interact with internal business units and lead cross-company initiatives
• Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Professional Certification:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Prior experience working at one of the Big 4 accounting firms (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG).

Industry Experience:

• Significant experience in the high-tech industry.
• Previous experience as a Controller or in a similar senior accounting role within a global SaaS (Software as a Service) company.

Accounting Expertise:

• Extensive hands-on experience in accounting, with a deep understanding of US GAAP, including ASC 606.
• Experience working on financial reports for subsidiaries and creating consolidated financial statements.
• Experience as a financial controller in a company with subsidiaries.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Priority ERP software (advantageous).
• Experience working with Salesforce (advantageous).
• Experience working with NetSuite systems (advantageous).
