Lead Technologist / Architect for Crypto Trading Platform

A Start-Up company developing a high-frequency crypto trading platform, with daily trading volumes reaching billions, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Technologist / Architect.

The platform enables electronic arbitrage across multiple crypto exchanges at high speeds.

As the Lead Technologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of technological strategies, translating financial requirements into a robust technical roadmap, and ensuring seamless collaboration between algorithmic and infrastructure teams.

You will drive improvements in workflow processes, execution of the company's strategy, task definition, supervision, and final product delivery.

This is a hands-on role, deeply integrated with the team, requiring meticulous attention to detail and expertise in trading logic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technological execution of the platform, ensuring alignment with financial goals and high-level strategy.
• Develop and maintain a technical roadmap that bridges the gap between financial and technical requirements.
• Collaborate closely with teams to enhance the workflow and operational processes, ensuring quality execution.
• Define tasks, supervise their progress, and validate the final output to ensure technological and business alignment.
• Be actively involved in the technical details, providing hands-on support and guidance.
• Improve trading algorithms and platform infrastructure for optimal performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience with Python, C++, Java, and AWS infrastructure.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure management, including building and maintaining trading platforms and systems.
• Strong expertise in designing and deploying trading infrastructure, including containerization technologies (e.g., Docker), and cloud environments.
• Solid background in trading technologies, including logic development and high-frequency trading systems.
• Ability to work both on a high-level strategy and deep in the technical implementation.
• Experience in building and maintaining large-scale, mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with financial algorithms and the trading ecosystem is highly desirable.
