Head of Creative and Design

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a top talented head of creative & design to lead our outstanding creative team in creating the visual language of our brand. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design of our brand across all brand channels. You will focus on maintaining and improving our industrial and graphic language and impeccably made products, while mentoring a team of designers and collaborating with our global team. You’ll become a significant part of our massive growth and gain in-depth knowledge of Oddity design, culture, products and users.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage a team of talented industrial and graphic designers
• Lead the design of best-in-class packaging for all our brand products from A to Z – concept, usage, industrial design and development, branding and graphics, until perfection is achieved.
• Lead, conceptualize and execute still-life and beauty photoshoots
• Lead brand graphics across all channels – packaging, collateral, media, etc.
• Lead brand partnerships and collaborations with a multi-disciplinary team
• Become an expert in premium packaging materials, finishes and decorations
• Define the typography and color story of our brand
• Combine between best-in-class design and the needs of reality - time-to-market, target prices, sustainable claims, etc.
• Support the execution and/or tooling/printing process of bringing the teams’ designs to life by providing detailed feedback

WHO YOU ARE

• Both an experienced design manager and a talented hands-on designer
• Passionate about branding, graphic design, art, packaging and industrial design
• One-of-a-kind conceptual thinker with an ability to look at both the larger picture and every small detail
• Positive attitude with a willingness to put aside ego for the sake of what's best for the team
• Self-starter leader, self-motivated, with an ability to work independently and to inspire a team of hungry designers
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
• An excellent problem-solver

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience
• BA in Industrial Design from a known institute
• A master in Solidworks + Keyshot + Adobe Creative Suite (Ps,Ai)
• Experience bringing industrial designs into mass production working with manufacturing partners (glass / plastic / cardboard)
• Experience in print-ready graphic designs and manufacturing processes
• Advantage - experience in directing photoshoots for product / beauty
• High level of written and spoken English (formal presentations for management are required)
