Job Description:

Spotnet is seeking a Senior Cloud and System Specialist to join our leading technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of system environments, including VMware, Microsoft, and Linux, while also leading the architecture and integration of advanced cloud and security solutions.

This position requires a strong blend of expertise in traditional IT systems and leadership in cloud architecture and security integrations, particularly with Azure-based solutions and cloud security systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and Manage VMware Environments: Oversee virtualization deployments, upgrades, and resource management.
• Oversee Backup and Recovery Processes: Ensure reliable data protection and system availability.
• Manage Microsoft-Based Servers and Infrastructure.
• Design and Build Cloud Architectures: Utilize Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Develop and Implement Cloud Security Integrations: Tailor solutions to meet the organization’s needs.
• Manage Cloud Environments: Handle maintenance, upgrades, and automation processes.
• Develop and Implement IT Infrastructure Optimization and Automation: Enhance both cloud and traditional systems.
• Work with Advanced Cloud Management and Cybersecurity Tools: Utilize security management solutions effectively.
• Lead Large-Scale Cloud Migration Projects: Facilitate hybrid infrastructure integration solutions.

Requirements:

• 7-10 Years of Experience working with VMware and virtualization environments.
• Extensive Experience with Backup and Recovery Solutions: Manage data protection and system resiliency.
• Deep Knowledge of Microsoft Systems: (Windows Server, Active Directory).
• Hands-On Experience in Designing and Building Cloud Architectures: Especially with Microsoft Azure (experience with AWS or GCP is a plus).
• In-Depth Understanding of Cloud Security Integrations: Including identity and access management, encryption, and tools for securing cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in Cloud Migration and Automation Processes.
• Strong Project Management Skills: Ability to work in a multitasking environment.
• Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Additional Advantages:

• Experience in Linux: An advantage.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes: For container orchestration in the cloud.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) Tools: For continuous cloud environment operations.
• Experience with Splunk: For observability and cloud log management.
