Position Summary:
HiBob is looking for a strategic VP of Digital Marketing and Performance to scale our inbound digital marketing strategy, building pipeline and driving revenue across all segments we target. Reporting directly to the CMO, this data-driven and optimization-obsessed marketing leader will lead a team of digital marketing channel owners and supporting functions to drive end-to-end performance in the digital funnel, touching all stages of the buyers journey.

Role Responsibilities
Drive the planning, execution, and optimization of digital and performance marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned digital channels to attract attention, interest, and engagement of modern HR professionals globally
Nurture and grow a team of digital marketing channel owners and supporting functions: SEO, SEM, social media, web strategy, web development, video, AI and growth, and digital creative operations
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, including brand, field marketing, and product marketing to ensure digital marketing efforts align to global marketing goals, deliver key messages to market, and complement offline activations
Establish and monitor key performance indicators that measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reporting, action plans, and insights to the executive team
Hone our attribution and data models in partnership with Rev Ops and FP&A to assess customer acquisition cost by channel and segment, driving smarter investment decision-making and end-to-end accountability for performance across the team
Coach digital marketing team members to new heights of professional development, balancing day-to-day responsibilities with strategic growth opportunities
Identify opportunities for optimization, improvement, and return on investment, driving continuous growth and innovation
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual multi-million-dollar budgets and budget allocations across channels, geos, and segments
Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our digital strategy takes advantage of new innovations
Requirements are often considered a measure of how equipped you are to do the job, but sometimes, they aren’t the only factor. If you don’t have nearly enough experience, or not all the skills, we’d still like to hear from you. This could be the perfect fit for you and us.
You’ll be great for this role if you have:
Track record of success in developing and executing global B2B digital strategies that drive profitable growth and ROI across small business, mid-market, and sub-enterprise segments; deep experience in SMB-focused inbound motions a plus
Experience managing marketing programs with budgets exceeding $20 million
Comfortable working in high-growth environments with a focus on customer acquisition and revenue performance, with experience in building digital marketing plans to support company growth initiatives in new product categories, new geographies, new markets, and with new partners
Experience in performance marketing, with a deep understanding of digital advertising platforms, technologies, and best practices that can be leveraged to engage with team members, agency stakeholders, and professional experts at both a strategic and tactical level
Ability to brainstorm, implement new creative ideas, and test/refine as we go, leveraging a “bet big” and “fail fast” mindset to innovate and adapt to changing market dynamics
Bias towards proactivity, assessing risk, capitalizing on opportunities, and averting problems before they arise or compound
World-class analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and tactics
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate ideas and implications to stakeholders who are not themselves subject matter experts
Skilled in strategic planning, budget allocation, and team development, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals
Clear and effective communication style that encourages understanding and collaboration
